lauren's quilt

Again with the Alexander Henry prints. This quilt I managed to make within about 3 days. I had sent a little blankie to Amy's daughter Mango and her older daughter Lauren needed a little something to.

So I made her this. Funky and fun quilt.  Because of my huge irrational fear of machine quilting I just used tied this one together with some pale pink thread. I also used pale pink quilters flannel on the back.

If I remember right it was a little larger than a crib quilt, but smaller than a twin size.

According to Amy when Lauren opened the box and saw the quilt she screamed.

I think that means that she liked it.
