Surprised you with that one huh ? I started Sophia on Friday.
Thursday night I made another trip into Joann's to see if my white fabric was back. It wasn't on the shelf, so I asked. One lady started digging into the new stuff but didn't find it. I was just about to walk out the door when a different employee asked to see my project and when I told her my dilemma, she told me to hold on and she dug around in the same cart of fabrics and found the one I needed. I told her I loved her and I meant it.
Then Friday morning I finished the top edges on "Max" and started playing around with the scraps of pink (love my pink polka dots) and voila "Sophia" was made.
Anyway, I didn't get much done this weekend. I have the back and binding for both quilts, just a matter of cutting it all out and sewing it together. Gives me something to do this week.
"Sophia" wasn't my something different, I am still working out the idea in my head. Although it was different in the sense that I didn't use squares, and that I used alot of white.
"Max" will be a crib sized quilt when finished and "Sophia" will be a little smaller than crib sized. Stroller sized maybe ?
